CPL(AAFC) Meg Goulding was honoured as the recipient of the inaugural 'AAFC Instructor of the Year' award by Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley, AC DSC (Retd) and Warrant Officer of the Royal Australian Air Force, WOFF-AF Fiona Grasby, OAM, at the Australian Air Force Cadets 80th Anniversary Governor General's Reception at Admiralty House, Sydney, NSW in May 2021.

Due to the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions at the time, 4WG (VIC) members joined the celebrations virtually.

The Australian Air Force Cadets acknowledges this country and its traditional custodians.

We acknowledge and respect the spiritual relationship between the traditional custodians and this country which is inspired by language of songs, dance law and dream time stories over many thousands of years and we pay our respect to the elders who have passed into the dreaming, those here today, and those of tomorrow. May we continue to peacefully walk together in gratitude, respect and kindness in caring for this country and each other.
