RSL
RSL Australia
The RSL across Australia has long been an active supporter of the AAFC Wings and Squadrons through the State Headquarters and various Sub-Branches. This support has taken many forms including scholarships, mentoring and financial contributions.
Recently RSL Queensland provided funds so the AAFC could purchase a new National Banner. I n 2011, the RSL in Queensland and New South Wales provided support to overseas cadets who visited the Brisbane and Sydney areas as part of the International Air Cadet Exchange . During the visits, t he cadets met RSL State B ranch Executives.
The AAFC is very grateful for this support because it ensures that international cadets enjoy a memorable experience and have the chance to meet veterans of another nation.

In 2008 RSL Queensland generously provided the AAFC with a new National Banner. This Banner is proudly kept by the Wing that holds the prestigious Air Force Trophy, annually awarded to the Wing of the Y ear.
Annually RSL Queensland further demonstrates support by sponsoring the Queensland component of the International Air Cadet Exchange (IACE) tour, enabling the AAFC to host 35 cadets and escorts from Belgium, Canada, France, Hong Kong, The Netherlands, Republic of Korea, Turkey, United Kingdom and the USA . RSL Queensland’s vital support ensures that AAFC hosts a premier exchange program and that Australia remains one of the most popular destinations for international cadet exchanges.
