CUO Grace Wilton was the inaugural recipient of the Cadet of the Year award

CUO Grace Wilton was honoured as the recipient of the inaugural 'AAFC Cadet of the Year' award by Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley, AC DSC (Retd) and former Commander Australian Air Force Cadets, Group Captain(AAFC) Mark Dorward at the Australian Air Force Cadets 80th Anniversary Governor General's Reception at Admiralty House, Sydney, NSW in May 2021.

The Australian Air Force Cadets acknowledges this country and its traditional custodians.

We acknowledge and respect the spiritual relationship between the traditional custodians and this country which is inspired by language of songs, dance law and dream time stories over many thousands of years and we pay our respect to the elders who have passed into the dreaming, those here today, and those of tomorrow. May we continue to peacefully walk together in gratitude, respect and kindness in caring for this country and each other.
