Mr Matt Hall

Matt Hall - Inaugural Ambassador of AAFC Foundation

Matt Hall is the AAFC Foundation’s inaugural ‘Ambassador’ and is a former Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) fighter pilot and fighter combat instructor. Matt is also an international unlimited aerobatic competitor and the first Australian to be selected to compete in the Red Bull Air Race World Championship, starting in 2009. 

Matt won the championship in the final season of Red Bull Air Race in 2019.  

Matt flew over 1500 hrs in the RAAF F-18s and over 500 hours in the F-15E Strike Eagle, including in combat, on exchange with the USAF. 

Matt continues to be a strong supporter and mentor for youth development programs, and in particular the Australian Air Force Cadets.

The Australian Air Force Cadets acknowledges this country and its traditional custodians.

We acknowledge and respect the spiritual relationship between the traditional custodians and this country which is inspired by language of songs, dance law and dream time stories over many thousands of years and we pay our respect to the elders who have passed into the dreaming, those here today, and those of tomorrow. May we continue to peacefully walk together in gratitude, respect and kindness in caring for this country and each other.
