  • Global aerospace and defense company specializing in the design, manufacturing, and assembly of complex aerospace structures and subsystems for commercial and military aviation.

  • Provides components to major defense OEMs, including Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Thales, and Parker Aerospace.
  • Supplies parts to a large number of aircraft in the Australian Air Force, including MRH90, ARH Tiger, F-18, CH-47, and MH-60R.
  • Main programs include:
  • AME Weapon Adapters for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.
  • Loyal Wingman (ATS).
  • Joint Direct Attack Munition Extend Range (JDAM-ER) wing kit.
  • Missile Racks for the MH-60 Romeo Helicopter.

Ferra could potentially host a limited visit to its Brisbane facility providing timing can be mutually agreed. The activity is open to negotiation, but will generally include some or all of the following:

  • An introduction to Ferra Engineering and the aerospace capabilities that it provides to Defence;
  • A tour of the Ferra manufacturing facility; and an
  • Overview of career opportunities at Ferra including entry requirements.
