723 Squadron (SQN) parades on Wednesday nights during school term throughout the year in Joondalup, Western Australia. 723SQN has a catchment area of suburbs in the City of Joondalup and enjoy a close working relationship with the city. 723SQN is the northern most SQN in the Perth metropolitan area.
723SQN was established in 2000 and started with only 20 Cadets and 6 Instructors. As of 2025, 723SQN is parading well over 100 Cadets and Instructors.
723SQN has a large focus on Aviation (Flight Simulators), Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (Drones) and Fieldcraft Camps as several instructors attached to 723SQN are current RAAF and commercial pilots and current Australian Defence Force personnel.
The Commanding Officer is FLGOFF(AAFC) Nick Wells.
