No 412 Squadron was established in 1991 as an Albury/Wodonga-based unit of No 4 Wing, Australian Air Force Cadets. We parade on Friday evenings from 1800 - 2100 hrs (6 pm - 9 pm) during the Victorian school term and are located close to Albury Airport at the corner of Avalon Street and Dalton Place.
We have a total of around 120 cadets, aged from 12 through to 18. We are also supported and lead by 15 dedicated staff members and an additional 4 Defence Approved Helpers.
Our squadron is one of the most active in Victoria, running optional activities most weekends throughout the year. These activities include fieldcraft, survival, flying, ceremonial parades, community service, shooting, team building and leadership development, adventure training and much more.
412 Squadron charges fees to cover expenses not provided for by Defence. The squadron's annual fee is $90. This fee is reduced to $50 for cadets who join mid-year. Additionally, new cadets are charged a one-off enrolment fee of $40 which covers the supply of a squadron polo shirt, baseball cap and name tags.
If you are interested in joining as either a cadet or an adult supervisor (staff), or you might be a parent of an interested person please see the information on this website about how to apply or email us at 412sqn@airforcecadets.gov.au for more information
