Welcome to 232SQN Australian Air Force Cadets. 232 SQN has been an active member of the Gold Coast AAFC units since 2003.The AAFC is the premier aviation-oriented youth organisation in Australia. With an aviation and military focus, cadets are given the opportunity to develop confidence, self-discipline, initiative, leadership, teamwork and communication skills that will be invaluable throughout their lives and careers.
232 Squadron has a comprehensive training program offering a variety of activities such as weekend field camps, flying experience days, ceremonial parades, and firearms safety training. Cadets can also participate in various camps and courses during the school holidays, such as flying training, gliding training, promotion courses and general service training camps. Cadets can choose to use these skills to contribute to their Duke of Edinburgh, Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards.
