Welcome to 221SQN (City of Gold Coast) Australian Air Force Cadets the Australian Air Force Cadets is the premier aviation-oriented youth organisation in Australia. With an aviation and military focus, cadets are given the opportunity to develop confidence, self-discipline, initiative, leadership, teamwork and communication skills that will be invaluable throughout their lives and careers.
221 Squadron has a comprehensive training program offering a variety of activities such as bivouacs, air experience days, ceremonial parades, firearms safety training. Cadets can also participate in various camps and courses during the school holidays, such as flying, gliding, promotion courses and general service training camps. Cadets can choose to use these skills to contribute to their Duke of Edinburgh, Bronze, Silver and Gold awards.
