More Information
On 10 June 1958, 20 Flight Air Training Corps conducted its first parade at the Police Boy’s Club at Lang Park with a strength of 13 cadets.
In the years that have passed, the Squadron has undergone significant change, moving several times to its current home at Aviation High School (previously Hendra State High School), becoming 220SQN Australian Air Force Cadets.
Our Squadron has a strong link to the aviation history of our area and proudly supports the region's RAAF Associations and RSLs.
Currently, the Squadron has the most experienced staff in 2 Wing (South East QLD) and continues the tradition of 'Responsibility in Flight', being close to the Brisbane Airport and positioned at a school whose focus is on aviation skills training.
Wing
At this Wing we bring together cadets from different squadrons for training and activities.
